How we verify
Reviewed by Verisa
Verisa lists properties that treat wellness as infrastructure, not a marketing line. A sauna is our primary signal, alongside facilities like cold plunges, steam rooms, a proper gym, spa pools and treatment spaces that support how you want to feel when you arrive.
Every claim is backed by photographic evidence. We do not publish a wellness facility unless it is clearly visible in the gallery, and images are reviewed for quality, recency and accuracy against what the property offers on site.
This is a detailed editorial review against objective standards, and it is curator-driven, not pay-to-play. The review is thorough, but it is made on the information available to us, so until we have visited a place ourselves, it is an assessment rather than a personal guarantee.
Visited by Verisa
Verisa is a small, independent team. We started it because we could not find a reliable source of wellness information when choosing where to stay, so we built the catalogue we wanted to use ourselves, which means going to see stays in person wherever we can.
The Visited by Verisa seal is our highest level of assurance. When a stay carries it, someone from Verisa has been to the property in person and confirmed that what is listed is genuinely there. Visiting every stay takes time, and over the coming seasons we intend to verify as many as we can, so the number carrying the seal will keep growing.
When you see the Visited by Verisa seal, you can have full confidence that a stay is exactly what you will find when you arrive.
